Eshita
ROTATION
Eshita has helped our wardrobes become more agile, enabling luxury and high end fashion pieces be more accessible through ‘rotating’. Her community-driven rent, lend and sell app has changed the way we wear and has in turn offered consumers a more sustainable way of admitting “I’ll only wear it once”. Which now doesn’t have to be such a faux pas when undressing from a sparkly cocktail number on a Saturday evening.
"You have to be really tenacious...everyone is passionate about something, but not everyone can follow through when things get really difficult."
'It's nice for us as female business owners that we get to say 'if you're having a bad period day, you can stay at home'."
"We're all very open with each other, we communicate really really well. There are no egos. I love working in a mostly female and female-founded business."
"Whether that’s at school or wherever it's from, we’re not instilled with enough confidence to think that we’re capable of running a business [but] what is better than making your passion your job."
OLIVIA
OLIVA RUBIN
Olivia Rubin is synonymous in the fashion scene for her pastel rainbow designs. Dressing the likes of Lena Dunham to Eva Chen, her presence has not been missed by A-list celebs and some of Instagram’s most popular influencers. Renowned for colour in all forms, from powerful prints, sequins and chunky knits, expect to turn heads at street crossings when wearing one of her pieces.
"Kindness is key, especially with your employees, your peers and people you work with. I think that's a really important trait to have."
“Just because you’re a female founder, doesn't mean that you’re some hard-nosed career woman, who has sacrificed having children or anything like that; people often try to put you in a box when you’re a female founder and I say just ignore that."
